Fabric (in development)

Fabric is a work in development, exploring inorganic materials as agents and participants on a level that we can relate to, through amplifying energy exchanges which connect us to the surrounding physical world.

​

Fabric is a woven tapestry of conductive hair-thin wires. When fabric is touched, the circuit is closed and a minute amount of electricity flows through the woven material, lighting up the LED. 

​

Tinned 0.1mm copper wire, insulated 0.2mm  copper wire, solder, LED, resistors, AA battery, human hand.
